TPSB Level 2 Non Commission Security Training (Unarmed Security Guard)
Level II (Level 2) Non Commissioned Security, or Unarmed Security, is the introductory 6-hour class that covers the basics of becoming a Non Commissioned or Unarmed Security Guard in Texas. This security training course provides the Level 2 training as required by the State of Texas. Once complete, you will be provided with your certificate of completion, which is to be submitted and approved by the State (Texas Private Security Bureau has it’s own guidelines/regulations/fees). Once approved by the State, you will be able to work legally as a Non Commissioned/Unarmed security officer in the State of Texas.
TPSB Level 3 Commission Security Training (Armed Security Guard)
The Level III (Level 3), 45 hour security guard training class is what you take if you are looking to carry a firearm as a Commissioned Armed Security Guard in Texas. This security course, as required by the State of Texas Private Security Bureau, will include a classroom session and a firearms range qualification. You take this class after completing your Level 2 security guard training.

This is the combo price for Level 2 training and Level 3 security training combined. We will give you a receipt with the date of the Level 3 class that you will be attending.
TPSB Level 3 Security Requalifications
Every two years, you’re required to Re-qualify in order to maintain your Level 3 security license.
This is a 6 hour refresher course. Your Requalification training will also include going to qualify at
the range.
